Oral Sores = ?: Canker sores usually occur on the soft mucous membranes and tissues inside your mouth and look like ulcers, while herpes more often occurs on the outside of the lips and appears as blisters. You can also google it for images. However, you will need to see a dentist (or physician) for a definitive diagnosis.
