When did you test?: The brown discharge is likely to be old blood. Imbalances of estrogen and Progesterone can cause break through bleeding. You can use a home pregnancy test at the time you miss your next period or an early pregnancy test may be able to detect pregnancy up to 6 days prior to your anticipated period.
