Older: The average age is around 60, but as the incidence is increasing and affecting both men and women, the average age is a bit younger, in the mid 50's, particularly those with anal condylomata (warts). This is related to exposure to human papilloma virus infection. Fortunately, treatment is very effective if caught early.
