First Gyn: According to the american college of ob/gyn it is recommended that the first gyn appointment occurs between ages 13 and 15. Naturally, you would not perform a pelvic examination unless they were very strong reasons to do so. In your situation, i strongly recommend that you get to see a doctor who is very comfortable and considers him or herself a specialist with PC os. It sounds like you already have something called metabolic syndrome. You need to jump on it and start fighting back.
