A member asked:

If somebody has chlamydia in the throat, can they pass it on by kissing?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Chlamydia is only caught through sexual contact during unprotected vaginal, oral, or anal sex. I am unaware of any reports that chlamydia in the throat can be passed/transmitted by kissing or via saliva.
