Yes: The eyeball grows fast: increasing to 22.5–23 mm by 3 years old. By age 13, the eye attains its full size. A typical adult eye has an anterior to posterior diameter of 24 mm. The longer the eye, the more myopic or near-sided. The shorter, the more hyperopic or far-sided.
