Pubic hair itch: If you are sexually active you may have been infected with a std, e.g. Pubic lice (crabs). Lice can be seen with a magnifing glass as can lice nits be seen on pubic hairs. The red bumps my be from lice or other. See your doctor for any examination or treatment. If you can't see a doctor and you see lice or lice nits, you can get medication over the counter-follow directions carefully.
