Technically, yes: I think you would do well to talk to your primary care doctor or your gynecologist about your concerns. I think sometimes the worrying is worse than the condition! fortunately the vast majority of sexually transmitted diseases are manageable in a way that makes the actual quality of life reduction associated with them minimal although unnecessary shame and stigmatization can occur.
