Is it ok to swim with a burn wound?

Maybe: But be aware that if a wound is consistently too wet, it can macerate (over hydrate) the new skin and possibly destroy it. This can result in a non-healing burn wound.

Probably not: Water can caused maceration of wound and prolong time required for healing and predispose wound to infection. Would be good idea to avoid swimming until wound heals.
