How soon can you swim after mastectomy?

3-4 weeks: Usually your drains are removed in about 1-2 weeks time. I would suggest waiting another 2 weeks to assure adeqaute healing before swimming. You may shower though, after the drains are out. Of course all depends on your wound healing process. Please follow your surgeon's advice.
