Maybe: A LD is a neurologic condition that interferes with a person's ability to read, write, speak, spell, do math or reason in spite of normal intellect. This definition from learning disabilities association of america. That said, many people can't spell correctly, but aren't learning disabled. Many doctors can't spell but aren't ld. Many (profession) can't spell but aren't ld, etc, etc., . .
