Cramps are normal: The cramps and twinges are likely normal "growing pains" of a changing uterus. As it begins to grow with the early pregnancy, these twinges are normal. If the pains are more severe, it would be important to have an early ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy is within the uterus and not within the fallopian tube.
