Yes, can be: There are ligaments in the pelvis holding the uterus up, and sometimes when getting from sitting to standing or when picking things up off floor, women can experience stretching and pulling sensations, as well as cramping. If there's bleeding associated, be sure to tell your doctor. An ultrasound at 18 weeks will confirm everything is normal for placenta/baby. Try not to lift > 10#.
