Y wld my dr pt me on psych meds 4 a narcolepsy type spells tht hs nt been diagnosed yet still having test bt on wellbutrin (bupropion) lexapro lemictal seriquel?

Psychiatrists: I always tell my patients with this type of question. If the psychiatrist has you on four or more medications you need a second opinion. You are over medicated and you are on medications that could have significant interactions. I would advise getting a different professional perspective.

All dx's ??: T/c ask for a complete diagnostic review & explain why on each medication. Also, if going to see a sleep specialist do you need to go off some or all of your current medications at least 48 hours before any studies, e.g. Sleep study. Have yu had neuropsychological testing? Has the green mucus been w/u& blood work & levels of Lamictal been checked?Too many unknowns&lack of data& space better answ.
