Fever: I am not sure if I am reading this question right. The answer is a simple and obvious yes. The reason is that a fever is there to try to kill the bug that is causing the problem. By heating up the body then the standard atmosphere is changed and hopefully the bug cannot survive in this hotter environment.

Sweating often: Occurs with a fever. Sweating kicks in as one of our body's protective mechanisms to help keep the body cool.
