Yes, they're safe: Bioflavonoids are complex chemicals that are important for our health, and which give colors to fruits and vegetables. Common ones include quercetin, rutin, lutein, zeoxanthin, anthocyanadins, catachins, and astaxanthin. There is little evidence that these are harmful in pregnancy.
