Association: There is evidence that chronic sleep deprivation and poor sleep is associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke. There is no direct, causative effect though.

Now we know : That psychosocial stressor are a risk factor for coronary artery disease. Good sleep habits of at least 8 hrs a day are essential for a good healthy lifestyle and a balance spiritual, emotional, physical and mental state. Good luck.
