Depends: Infertility is not usually so black and white. Severe bilateral chronic epididymitis will certainly increase your risk for infertility above the usual 15% risk. How much will vary widely. It is possible it could obstruct the tubes that allow the sperm to leave the body and can also affect testicular functions like sperm and hormone production. It is important that this be treated now. Low: Most men recover from epididymitis and do just fine. And, it's the acute (not chronic) and bacterial (yours?) epididymitis that causes obstruction.
