Several options: Here is what i would tell my patients: first, continue your regular prenatal care. Also gather all medical records regarding diagnosis and prior treatment of your condition. Ask your OB if you should have a referral to a maternal-fetal medicine specialist or endocrinologist with experience in hyperthyroidism in pregnancy. Keep every appointment and take notes. Above all, keep asking questions!
