Toss in the dryer: I think you can toss your pillows in the clothes dryer & any head lice or random eggs would be killed by the heat.

Head Lice: There are many effective treatments for head lice, Ovide or kwell (lindane) shampoo and other gereric brands. Nits are removed manually from oiled hair. Cure is expected when scalp itching is gone, no need to throw pillow cases just wash them.
