A member asked:

Can i see my general physician if i think i may have complication from something he advised against?

Of course: That's why your physician is there for. Doctors give you recommendations - whether you follow it or not is your choice. But if you don't, your doctor won't judge you - that's water under the bridge - he/she will try to treat you and advise you what to do next.
