Why do i have pain in my hip when i wake up?

Dr. Amir Khan answered

MANY REASONS: Compression of the nerves in the thigh or lower back and other causes such as hernias, back problems or hip problems can lead to pain. You should rule out hip problems such as a 1) stress fracture, 2) avascular necrosis, 3) transient osteoporosis, 4) arthritis, 5) labral tears 6) infection. Muscle injury/tendinitis around the hip joint may also cause your pain.
