Is 5ml of colostrum every 2 hours enough?

Not for baby: Newborns usually start out taking about 20 ml every 2-3 hours. Your milk production should increase over 4-5 days to keep up with the babies demands. Until then, the baby will likely lose weight and should have the weight monitored as your doctor recommends.
