Equate: Is a generic brand i believe but they are all good - some may be better than others based on anecdotal opinions. Hope this helps.

Similar to others: Equate is the walmart brand and the equate anticavity mouthwash is similar to the national brand act. Their pre-rinse is simlar to plax. But remember, you should never just rely on home care products, you should see a dentist at least twice per year.

Walmart knockoff!: Equate is a walmart knockoff of listerine. In my office daily flossing is 93% of home care; toothbrushing is 6% and mouthwash is at best 1%. Don't believe what you see on the commercials. (have you ever seen a commercial for floss? No! because there is no profit in selling it!). But there must be a tremendous profit in pitching 40 proof mouthwash! equate, listerine still 1% of care!
