No: Most of our "normal" lab values are from adults. Babies and young children should have a "low" creatinine compared to adult norms as they are normal for their age. It is not from dehydration. If dehydrated, creatinine may be high.

Low creatinine...: ...Probably reflects low meat intake (it is made in muscles) coupled with good kidney function.
