Boil: I've answered many questions about 'spider bites' today. They are rarely spider bites; they're usually bacterial infections of the skin, most often caused by staph aureus. The usually treatments are with Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) or clindamycin. However, by the time they've turned into boils, they may need to be opened and drained.
