Difficult to say: Difficult to answer specifically, so you should talk with your doctor. In general the "seriousness" of pneumonia can be judged by several factors. The risk posed by pneumonia is increased with age > 65, a fast rep rate or low blood pressure, confusion or delirium, and certain abnormal blood tests indicating problems with kidney function. Coexisting serious illness also increases risk.

Can be serious...: Pneumonia is an infection of the lung. It can be serious but typically responds to antibiotics. You should begin feeling better in a day or two. If your symptoms worsen at any time, especially if you develop worsening breathing difficulty, you should call your doctor or go to the er. If you are not better in a week or so, call your doctor. If you smoke, you need to quit.
