Probably OK..: Most of the aloe vera plant is edible--the leaves are juicy/succulent. The leaves are thick and contain quite a bit of juice (clear gel) which is often used in making juice or to make skin lotion etc.. It has been used for centuries both internally and external and has not been found to have any significant toxicity. So, at 9 month, i think should be safe. Congrats on the pregnancy. Good luck.

safety not known: Hardly any drugs or herbs have been studied for safety in pregnancy. There is no evidence aloe juice is dangerous during pregnancy; many women report using it regularly during pregnancy without problems. Some manufacturers of aloe juice claim it's safe during pregnancy. However, most authorities say to avoid it as its safety in pregnancy has not been established. I'd avoid all herbs 1st trimester.
