A member asked:

Is burdock a vasodilator?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unknown: The national institutes of health center for complementary and alternative medicine has no listing for burdock. Webmd does but doesn't comment on mechanism. Be aware that some formulations of burdock contain belladonna which is poisonous if overdosed. Unlikely that the mechanism of burdock has ever been systemically studied as no one would pay for it. This is the problem with all otc herbs.
