Start a slow taper: Ask the clinic to put you on a tapering schedule. I assume that you are taking liquid methadone. Ask them for something that is reasonable and stick with it. Decreasing Methadone by 5 mg every week would be reasonable place to start. Start daily exercise, even walking. Make sure you have lots of distraction, hobbies or whatever to keep you busy and you mind occupied. When you crave, go do something.

Wean and support: Have a conversation with your counselor at your clinic. They are experienced at helping to transition patients off care, but you're going to need help.

Detox: The fastest way would be an inpatient detox. Another possibility is to find a doctor who prescribes Buprenorphine and switch to Buprenorphine and then taper that. "cold turkey" withdrawal from Methadone without medical care can be quite uncomfortable although in most cases it isn't life threatening.

Subaxone therapy: May find a subaxone prescribing physician and out patient counselor. Switch over to Suboxone with purpose of finally getting rid of that also.
