Other than future : Financial costs of raising a child and the stress that can entail, i don't think it solves any other problems.

No: It is only a method to provide for birth control which is to be considered permanent. Reversal is difficult and not always successful.

Would you be...: The sole goal of vasectomy is permanent contraception although its reversal is possible but costly and usually with no insurance coverage. A few remote post-vasectomy concerns such as worry about heart disease but never conclusively proved. Note: delayed lingering pain after vasectomy may bother few men.
