Body mass index: It varies depending on build. In general a body mass index between 18.5 to 24.9, which would be a weight between 95 and 128 lbs would be considered normal weight.

Body mass index: We use body mass index (http://www.Nhlbi.Nih.Gov/guidelines/obesity/bmi/bmicalc.Htm) to determine underweight, normal weight, overweight & obese based upon height in adults regardless of gender. Normal weight for 5' is 95#-128# but doesn't take into account body composition. Better to have more muscle than fat. Being skinny fat isn't healthy either. So 128# of muscle healthier than 95# of fat.
