Not likely, but...: Many lymph nodes appear as "lumps" in the armpit--likely completely benign. At age 24, it is most likely that your mole is just that. But! if it has changed size, shape or color, you should see a dermatologist. Best bet--seek evaluation.

No: A simple examination by your doctor can at least help differentiate benign looking lesions/ mole, as well as lump/ mass. If needed , your doctor can do other diagnostic test like ultrasound or biopsy. Have yourself examined for your peace of mind.
