Might for u, try it!: Whatever works for you is what works. Usually support and substitution are the best combination. Join a support group of other aspiring non-smokers and find activities that you can substitute (carrot sticks, deep breathing, meditation, running around the block, etc.). Cravings generally last only about 2-5 mins. If u distract yrself w something else for that long it will pass. Do that each time.

Ginger Tea: Ginger is used in some herbal smoking cessation products because it helps to prevent/ stop nausea. Ginger Beer - although historically a fermented alcoholic drink – ginger beer is usually sold as a soft drink in this day & age. However, some brands do still contain alcohol. Would avoid drinking alcohol to beat another addiction. Consider ginger tea or crstalized ginger.
