Could you get hiv from sharing lipstick?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: In theory, since HIV can be found in saliva of infected individuals, sharing lipstick could transfer virus. However this would be a highly inefficient way to transfer enough virus to cause an infection in the second user of the lipstick and is most unlikely to actually happen. Still it would be prudent to not share lipstick.
