Yes: Once your gums have healed and are healthy (after your root planing procedure, hopefully), you can safely bleach your teeth. However, it should always be done under dentist supervision. You may well have some areas which will not bleach predictably, or which will be sensitive and painful to bleach. So, don't try some unproven product from the drug store. Have it done safely and correctly by a dds.
