A member asked:

Why do i lose my breath so fast when i bend down?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Less room: Our ability to breathe has to do with the amount of space in our chest and abdominal cavities. When one bends over the diaphragm is constricted and can't expand as well, not getting in the air we may normally get and the feeling of shortness of breath.
