Thanks for asking!: What an interesting question which I am sure beer lovers are waiting anxiously to hear the answer - it probably would depend on what type of throat infection you have. The conservative physician answer would be that if you have an infection in which you are being treated with medications (antibiotics) you probably shouldn't drink alcohol with those medications.
