Facial spasm: Eyelid twitching is common, and is usually related to stress, fatigue, consumption of stimulants like caffeine, and local eye irritation. Facial twitching, where the cheek and mouth are also twitching, may be "hemifacial spasm", which is more serious. Talk to your medical doctor or neurologist about this possibility.
