Vaginal bleeding and burning after menopause - what could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Uterine bleeding: If you are postmenopausal (meaning no period for 12 months, average age 51-52) and you are experiencing vaginal bleeding, it must be assumed to be from the uterus. This might be a sign of precancerous changes. The evaluation should include: 1. An exam 2. An endometrial / uterine biopsy 3. An ultrasound while it is more likely to be related to other things, this must be pursued in this way.
