What is the drug reminyl used to treat?

Reminyl is brand name galantamine, which is approved to treat Alzheimer's disease. Has been used "off-label" to treat other dementias, and seems to help cognitive issues associated with Multiple Sclerosis. Can provide symptomatic relief in some patients, but is certainly not curative!
