Reflux: The most common problem that causes throat burning is reflux. This make sense because when you reflux, you are getting a strong acid from your stomach up to your mouth/throat. Other causes include allergies with significant post-nasal drainage. Any kind of injury or trauma can cause this too. Best to have you doctor check to make sure you get started on the right treatment.
