Possible infection: Urethral discharge and burning with urination are the classical signs of urethritis (infection/inflammation of the urethra). Though there are a number of causes of urethritis the stds gonorrhea and chlamydia would be the most common. Diagnosis is fairly rapid and reliable with appropriate urine tests or culture.
