Possible obstruction: Bladder outflow obstruction from tight bladder neck, prostatic enlargement (benign or malignant, urethral valves or urethral stricture (narrowing) can all cause bladder thickening. So can voiding dysfunction (failure to relax pelvic floor muscles during voiding. Also bladder infection or neurogenic bladder dysfunction.
