A member asked:

I want to start gymnastics lessons but i have panic disorder, how can i do this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Exercise if you wish: There is no reason why you shouldn't do gymnastics if you have panic disorder. Physical activity does not necessarily worsen symptoms of anxiety. Don't misinterpret body sensations as signs of an impending panic attack. After the exercise you will feel more relaxed and it will help keep your mind off your worries. Panic disorder is not difficult to treat. Look for help and free yourself.
