Retinal holes: Holes in the retina (the lining of the back of the eye) can develop after an eye injury or can occur spontaneously. Often, patients who develop this will notice floaters or flashes of light in the vision of one of their eyes. If this does develop, then you should notify your ophthalmologist promptly.
