Male sex: During sexual intercouse, the normally functioning prostrate gland, closes off the urethra allowing the sperm (ejaculate) to advance through the ejaculatory ducts and be expelled through the urethra. If the prostrate does not close off the urethra then the individual can have retrograde ejaculation, where the ejaculate goes into the bladder. When prostrate relaxes then he should be able urinate.
