Niether: Both are nicotine replacement. Either can substitute for the nicotine in cigarettes. I recommend trying with out nicotine replacement, because at some point you will have to go through the withdrawal. It is really not that bad, and cravings only last 2-5 mins. Distract yrself for that long w chewing on carrots or celery, deep breathing, meditation, running around the block, etc. Each time it hits.
