Feeling the baby: Diagnosing pregnancy by pushing on the stomach can only be done at an advanced stage of pregnancy when you can feel the baby's head and other body parts in the abdomen. In early pregnancy this isn't possible and blood tests and ultrasound are used to make the diagnosis. Best wishes!
