No: Generally speaking, no; that can occur and everything be fine with you. This pink spotting is usually just a prelude to your "normal" flow or cycle. If you have a discharge with associated symptoms like odor or burning or if it keeps recurring, then you might want your GYN to evaluate it. Also, there are a few things--like sex--that can cause spotting that mixes in with a normal discharge.
